WHAT IS BLACK FRAMES?

Black Frames is a California non-profit filmmakers' organization, established in 1998. Our commitment is to enhance the development and exhibition of films with black themes.  The projects of association members are produced by maximizing frugal use of our finances, optimizing our resources, careful strategic planning and networking.  These goals are accomplished  without compromising the quality of the project.

ASSOCIATION OBJECTIVE

The objective of the association is to equip filmmakers with the necessary knowledge and resources to develop, produce and distribute their projects with limited financial resources. In addition, Black Frames seeks to provide an environment where filmmakers can collectively work together, share resources and support each other's film projects.

Black Frames is aware of the current and future market demand for films with black themes.  With this awareness, the association is attempting to position its members to serve and benefit economically from the market demands.
